AMANDA COX

Dancer

 

Through movement, Amanda shares and creates emotions as they pour through her muscles and skin.  Mandy holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from the University of South Florida. Amanda has performed, trained and choreographed in Beijing, China and Paris, France. She has worked with a variety of impressing faculty nationally and internationally. Amanda has been honored to perform in works choreographed by Jeanne Travers, Bliss Kholmyer, Michael Foley, John Parks, Freddick Bratcher, Michael Mizerany and John Malashock. She is also involved with several performing projects throughout the Orlando area including Red Right Return and Society. Amanda continues to teach and choreograph for various schools around the state of Florida. She is excited for her new position as a Dance Educator at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. 

CRYSTAL DELGUIDICE

Dancer 

 

Raised in South Florida, Crystal is a graduate of University of South Florida, with a bachelors in Performance Dance and a minor in Criminology. She started her career as a competitive gymnast and dedicated much of her childhood to perfecting her craft, placing in state and national competitions across the United States. Through gymnastics training, she found a love for dance, here is where she could utilize her physicality, attention to detail, and utter determination to flourish in the arts. She has performed, choreographed, and studied abroad in Paris, France. In 2012 Crystal was selected to perform In the International Dance Seminar held in Beijing, China. She has danced with Staibdance and performed in works choreographed by Doug Varone, Maurice Causey, Jennifer Salk, George Staib, Jeanne Travers, Bliss Kholmyer, Andrew Carroll, Andee Scott and Monica Noble. She is interested in the artistic collaboration process and is currently working with the Tampa Tableaux. Crystal looks forward furthering her dance career as a performer, choreographer and artist.


 

KELLIE HARMON

Founder / Artistic Director

 

Kellie Harmon graduated from the University of South Florida with her B.F.A. in modern dance performance in 2013. In May 2009 she graduated from Santa Fe College dance department with her A.A. degree holding a full ride arts scholarship

for the two years she attended. Her work has been presented at Florida Dance Association on Tour 2009 and 2010 and adjudicated at American College Dance Festival 2010. Kellie spent June 2011 studying dance in Paris, France under the direction of Michael Foley and Stephanie Batten Bland. In February 2012 Kellie was the first student at USF to direct, produce, choreograph, and perform in her own show, "And the Ashes Felt Like Rain." This past summer Kellie was resident choreographer for the Florida Dance Festival where she began working on ‘Alas Alexandria’ a full length, looking to be presented in Spring of 2016. She has had the pleasure of working with Gallim, Doug Varone, Marina Mascarell Martinez, Paul Selwyn Norton, Rosie Herrera, Stephanie Batten-Bland, Brian Brooks, Marion Caffery, Michael Foley, Jeanne Travers, and Kristen O’Neal. Currently, Kellie has returned to Florida after two years’ experience in New York and is a founding member of the St. Petersburg Dance Alliance.

Sean McDonald

Dancer

 

Born in Fort Myers, Florida; Sean received his B.F.A in Modern dance at the University of South Florida. He is a 2012 Talent Grant recipient and also a former Pulse Dance Convention scholarship recipient. At USF, Sean has performed works by Jeanne Travers, John Parks, Paula Nunez, and Andrew Carroll. In 2012, Sean trained in Paris under Colleen Thomas, Daniel Madoff, and Prue Lang, where he performed his own work as well as Colleen Thomas' work at Micadanses. Sean also had a private one-on-one class with Daniel Madoff, where he learned Totem Ancestor choreographed by Merce Cunningham. In 2013, Sean had the privilege to perform his B.F.A Solo in the USF Faculty concert.  At USF, Sean has studied under Michael Foley, Andee Scott, Andrew Carroll, Jeanne Travers, and Bliss Kohlmyer. Sean’s performance highlights include the amazing works of Doug Varone (The Rite of Spring), Rosie Herrera (Pity Party), Andy and Dionne Noble (Spitting Ether), Colleen Thomas (Du Cour), and Juan Rodriguez (You). Sean has performed professionally with Adin & Ferguson Dance Theatre, Shoes At The Door Dance, Moving Current Dance Collective; and is currently a member of Collective Soles Dance Company. 

Carliegh Gee

Danccer

 

Carleigh is from Tarpon Springs, FL and began her dance training in hip-hop at age 9. She then when on to expand her training in other genres, receiving a BFA in Dance Performance with a Concentration in Modern Dance at the University of South Florida in May 2014. During her senior year at USF, she performed in Bliss Kohlmyer’s Picture in a Frame/let go let go let go, performing it both at USF and in the ACDFA Southeast Conference Gala, as well as assisting in setting it on the students at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, FL. She has also performed in works by Jeanne Travers and Ben Munisteri, as well as in excerpts from Rosie Herrera's Pity Party and Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16. In June 2013,Carleigh attended the USF Dance in Paris Program under the direction of Michael Foley and Colleen Thomas, where she choreographed, performed, and trained under artists such as Kevin Quinaou, Jenna Riegel, and Richard Siegal. She performed her original work, To Deviate, in Moving Current Dance Collective’s NewGrounds 2014, and is currently an instructor at The Studio Dance Company in Clearwater, Florida as well as a company dancer with Tampa Modern Dance Company.
